Ro Dempsey grew up in a land of dangerous animals - then she moved to New York! Ro brings quiet strength, playful wit, and unmistakable larrikin energy to the room. From theatre tours (Shorter & Sweeter, Arts Australia) to video games (Anna Lepus – Deathbound), from headlining as a vocalist on Princess Cruises to multiple appearances as Murderous Women (Discovery Channel), Ro has embraced the chaos of both a performer and a production team member.
She has also shared her knowledge teaching at Australia’s prestigious acting school, NIDA. Multi-accented — after living in New York for the past 12 years and learning the Queen’s English in the womb — Ro has worked as a director, choreographer, production coordinator and casting director, navigating creative ecosystems with heart, discipline, and that unmistakable Aussie humour.
